Hi! My name is Apache! I am so excited to find my forever family. I was born with a bladder defect, but it doesn’t slow me down at all! I wear a diaper when I’m inside (I leak when sleeping or rough housing/excited), but I’m completely potty trained. I do take pills to help with my condition.

I love playing outside and protecting the yard from squirrels. I can be around other dogs with slow introductions and a watchful eye, but I prefer to have a home as an only dog for best success. I do well at a daycare with smaller amounts of dogs in a group and with a little lower energy level as I prefer to be the leader for energy. I do give warning of turned up lips before I attempt to back off another dog, but I need you to keep a close eye on me when I am with other dogs, sometimes I just get overwhelmed

I haven’t had much experience with cats or small children.

I am kennel trained but I LOVE to snuggle in bed. I do great in the car and love to go on walks.
