My story

Welcome ‘Moe’ to FL 💙 this sweet, small, mixed breed pup got his ride to FL last night where he will be ready for her forever home soon! He’s a total unknown breed but should be medium size when grown! He’s looking for a forever home that understands the importance of proper training so he can be a well rounded adult. He’s good with other dogs. He will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption. Apply online at southernstatesbullyrescue.org under the ‘adopt’ tab. Once the application is filled out we can arrange a meet and greet with his foster. His adoption donation is $400.

Why adoption is a great option

Moe, a Tampa Collie/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Rat Terrier for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Collie/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Collie/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
