My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Recently we got the news that Princess has received a final extension to obtain an adopter, foster, or rescue before facing euthanasia on 4-6-2022... the fact that's her 5 MONTH SHELTER-VERSARY is bitter icing on the cake. Since we only have about a week left to spend time with Princess, we figured it was time we start treating her even more like the #Princess she is... so bust out the tutus & tiaras!!!

Princess' conundrum is a hard pill to swallow, we need to be honest that the bulk of her current problem relates to being relatively forgotten about for first 3 1/2 months at the shelter. Had she gotten the VIP (Very Important Pitty) treatment she's getting now she would have likely been adopted due to her receptive personality and Ador-A-Bull mixture of being so bubbly & easy going.

She doesn't express herself as dog reactive, but needs to be only pet in the home due to her prey drive arousal. That means she's NOT the kind of dog that will bark and lunge at the sight of another dog, but is not a fan of dogs encroaching on her personal space and needs a secure yard - or better yet no yard at all since she'd be very content to loaf around in an apartment or small home setting. She's a very sweet girl which makes this such a tough call to make, in the mornings I like to let her hang out with me while we do the daily walk-through of all the kennels and 100+ other dogs on the property & she's quite happy just to trot around right by my side the entire time.
