Kevin is a sweet orange and white boy in need of a very special family to open their heart and home to provide him with the care he needs. Kevin was born with a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), a condition affecting the part of the brain responsible for purposeful movement and coordination. Kevin is super-sweet and loving; he loves cuddling with people and showing them affection with lots of kitty kisses and purrs. Because his CH is severe, Kevin has limited mobility and needs help getting in and out of the litter box and cleaning up a bit afterwards. Someone that works from home or is retired and able to offer him around the clock assistance would be an ideal fit for this sweet & handsome guy. Approx. DOB: 10/1/2016
Interested in adopting a Goathouse cat or kitten? Then please start by completing the following steps required in our screening process: 1) Complete our online adoption application: Visit www.goathouserefuge.org/adoption-application/ to get started! 2) Arrange to visit the cat(s) in person: Please check our website for current visiting hours at our Pittsboro refuge. If your application indicates an interest in a cat currently in foster or at Cat Tales Cat Cafe, we will inform you on steps to take to arrange a cafe or foster visit. 3) Complete a home visit: Once you confirm that you've visited in person with the cat(s) of interest and completed the online application, your responses will be reviewed by the refuge staff so that a volunteer member of our home visit team can contact you to schedule a visit. Only after a representative of the refuge has visited the applicant's home will the refuge consider continuing with the adoption process.
