Young, wild, and free - that's Farro in a nutshell! Farro came to us after being captured by animal control, and we're not sure that this little boy has ever lived in a proper home before. This 4 year old, 15 lb pup will need an experienced, dog-savvy forever family to help tame his wild child ways.
Farro crates well (his crate is his safe space) and is very treat motivated. He is learning to trust his foster mom, and will sometimes join her on the couch to watch Netflix. He likes to mingle with the other dogs in the house too. Areas of improvement include potty training and leashed walking. Farro will require a securely fenced in yard.
Farro has a clean bill of health and is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations.

Your Current Pets - We do require that all of your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a homecheck prior to adoption.
