Monet is an amazingly sweet girl and she's gorgeous! She loves other dogs and loves to play. She would do well in a home as an only dog or with another dog (but doesn't like to share her toys). Monet loves to go for walks and runs and never meets a stranger.
She is a husky through and through and is very intelligent. She had a rough first three years of her life living in a barren backyard with little or no attention and no one to teach her anything. Since being rescued, she has learned how to love and be loved. She totally eats up any attention that she can get and did I mention that she's gorgeous!
Her rough start did have an effect on her and we soon found out that she was suffering from anxiety. She lived without proper feeding and toys so she guards her food and toys in fear that they will be taken away. We are working on these issues and making progress. She is on anxiety medication. We feel sure that with time and patience, she will overcome these issues.
Monet would do well in a home with a fenced yard and someone who is active and likes to go for walks, runs or hiking. You would have so much fun having her with you. Most importantly though is a home with someone that will give her the love and attention that she craves and deserves. Monet is an amazing girl!
