Meet Alfred! This handsome fella is an approximately 8 year old golden retriever mix who was dumped at the San Bernardino Animal Shelter a couple months ago. Alfred has been settling in with his foster family and is now ready to find his forever home.
Alfred is an absolute sweetheart who wants nothing more than to be with his people. He loves to cuddle on the couch and bed, hang out at your feet while you work, and go on walks. Alfred has lived with larger dogs and has done well. He would be very happy in a home with another easy going dog or as the only dog.
Alfred has been doing well with his potty training although he will need some additional direction with a new change. He is a smart, food motivated boy. Alfred loves his toys and could not be happier to have a full toy basket and bones to chew on. He can be hard on his toys, so he would do best with some heavy duty ones that are harder for him to chew apart! Alfred has been living his very best life since he left the shelter and is the most grateful boy ever.
If you’re interested in giving this precious boy the home he deserves please fill out an adoption application on our website roversretreat.org
*PLEASE NOTE: Alfred’s adoption fee is $300 and he is being fostered in Torrance *
