FOR ADOPTION: TIKA is a mature female Husky/Shepherd mix. She is approximately 4 years old and a fairly large girl. Tika is the mother of our recently adopted Marvel pups. She was supposed to return to her family but circumstances have changed and she is now looking for a forever home of her own. Tika is a big, easy going, loving lady that should easily fit into her perfect family. Her foster home says that Tika was fairly well behaved in their home with a moderate energy level. She enjoys going for walks and spending time outside but is also quite capable of chilling in her kennel or on the couch during down time. Tika has been non destructive inside and her only dirtiness stemmed from dominance issues with the other dogs. Tika is very dominant towards other dogs and has a high prey drive towards small animals such as cats so we are looking for an only pet home for this beautiful girl. Tika is working on basic obedience and leash walking skills but with the consistent handling that comes from being in a home we do think she will excel on all these fronts.
