My story

Meet Brutus! He’s a very affectionate six year old Boxer/Pittie mix. He loves being around his people and loves to cuddle. He knows sit, lay down, paw, and comes when called. He’s good with other dogs but prefers people to dogs. He loves toys & blankets but will not share with other dogs. He is potty trained and will let you know when he needs to go out. His owners returned to work full time and he needs a family that is home more. He’s looking for someone who can shower him with love and can’t wait to find his forever home.

ADOPTION FEE*: Fees vary due to costs put into them, but START at $400 for adults and $500 for puppies.

The adoption fee is for the adoption of the pet. We make sure that our animals are or will be spayed/neutered, receive the proper vaccines and are microchipped and we cover the cost for that if it's not already done before you adopt.

All Dogs Are Shown By Appointment with approved adopters. We are being very careful with Covid so please wear a mask at your appointment and social distance with others that are there to help.

More about this rescue

A Wish for Animals is an all volunteer run organization trying to help as many homeless animals as possible. We work tirelessly to help these animals become adoptable and work hard to find the them the right match so that you can enjoy your pet for the rest of its' life.

During Covid we have been inundated with applications, so please be patient with us as we all work full time as well and are doing our best to care for our animals and find the right homes for them.
