My story

Want to add a little spice to your life? Add some Paprika! Paprika is a beagle mix who is approximately 1 year old weighing in at 20 pounds. This tri-colored handsome feller is as friendly as could be but could be nicknamed the energizer bunny! Luckily he can easily be re-directed. Paprika enjoys having a buddy in the house, and does well knowing when his buddies are done playing with him, even though he is down to keep going (cue energizer bunny). If you have a dinner party, make sure you have a hamper!! Paprika loves toys and unmentionable clothing in his mouth --but does not destroy them-- but will make sure to embarrass you if you decide to leave them on the ground. Paprika is mostly potty trained and needs some training on leash etiquette as well as going into his crate, although once there he is calm. Paprika does have Lyme disease and some skin issues. Give Paprika some cuddles while chillin’ and you will likely see his cute little tongue sticking out. If you are interested in adding Paprika to your family apply @ pawpatroldayton.com. Fee is $275. Fee includes microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

More about this rescue

Paw Patrol is a dedicated group of volunteers working to improve the quality of life for pets living in our community. Our Mission is: OUR MISSION - To rescue and re-home neglected, abused, or otherwise unwanted pets into loving homes. - To provide shelter in the form of a lean-to or doghouse to outdoor pets in an effort to keep them dry and warm. - To provide outdoor dogs with alternatives to chaining in order to improve their quality of life. - To promote the importance of spaying/neutering pets and to offer this service to pets in our community. - To provide information to the public about the negative aspects of pet tethering. - To assist owners with necessary resources to allow them to keep their pet happy, healthy, and out of the already over-crowded shelter system.
