Hi! My name is Antwon and I’m a loyal, affectionate, SWEET pup who wants to find my family and make them as happy as they make me (with cuddles and playtime). My favorite time is when I’m with you, and I’m just the friendliest, happiest guy.

I am looking for a home with an active and cuddly family who enjoys a dog who is all about the love. I also do really well with other playful dogs! I’ve had tons of playdates with other dogs (and I’ve even visited the dog park a few times!) and I love to play and be friends with other canine buddies. I would do best with another playful dog who is a similar size to me as I don’t totally know how to give another dog constant space (I just want to play!) I do need a home without a cat friend.

I am having a blast in my foster home and I am learning so much! I’m a smart dog and I have been learning a lot about walking politely on a leash (I used to pull and get super excited but now I’m so much calmer!), how to settle down my eager excitement meeting other dogs, and how to just be more relaxed overall. I am a good student and my foster parents are proud of me! I also have really benefited from daily anxiety medication and the kind folks at PawsCo will give you all the details on that.

I really enjoy going for walks (I’d be such a fun hiking buddy!) so I’d do best in a home with a family who can give me my daily exercise (and I’d also love to have a fenced backyard to play in as well!) But then I like to be a couch potato with you at home. I’m an excellent companion for someone working from home as I like to be close but don’t need constant attention all day. I have learned to be a lot more comfortable being home alone and am adjusting well to kennel training! But I would prefer a home where my human isn’t gone for long work days just because that’s a lot of time to be in a kennel/home alone for me (I’m fine with a half day alone but prefer to be with you from there.) And I’d also do so well living with another dog to be buddies with as well!
