If you're looking for a very happy and goofy kind of dog, I'm your guy! My name is Yondu and I promise to always keep you entertained with my energetic personality and willingness to learn. I love to please my person so training me will be easy and fun.

Yondu has been in a foster home enjoying a much needed break from the shelter! Since being in the foster home he has been excellent living with other dogs. Yondu may also get along well with older, dog savvy children.

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

If you are interested in adopting and meeting one of our adoptable animals one-on-one, we will have you fill out our adoption questionnaire.

2.
Meet the Pet

After completing the adoption questionnaire, you will be paired with one of our Adoption Counselors to help you find the right match.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a match is made, we will finalize the adoption paperwork and have you sign an adoption contract.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Once the contract is signed you may take your new pet home, typically same day!

The Fox Valley Humane Association believes in caring for pets and their people. We have an open adoption process, and our goal is to get to know potential adopters on a personal level and best match them with a new companion. We encourage you to stop by during our open hours to meet our adoptable animals.

The Fox Valley Humane Association is open to the public during the following hours. You do not need an appointment to view our adoptable animals, we welcome visitors anytime during our viewing hours. In order to best serve you, please plan on arriving at least 30 minutes prior to closing to meet with an Adoption Counselor and ensure adequate time to visit with our adoptable animals.

Our mission is to remove barriers for pets and their people by providing a continuum of expert care, education, and connections to community resources.
