My story

We DO NOT adopt out of state
This little teddy bear is your typical puppy. Playful and fun and oh so nice to hold! He is working on house training.
We believe that these pups have some Chow in them. They will need a lot of socialization with people and dogs.
Onyx's ideal home will have another pup and fenced yard.

Their adoption process

1.

Approve Application

Once a inquiry is submitted we review the application. If we think the app is a good match for our pup we invite the folks to a meet & greet

2.

Meet the Pet

We are fosters based so we have a good feel for our pups. We do shows at a pet store 2ce a month as well for exposure.

3.

Interview

We call the adopters vets and do refference checks.

4.

Home Check

We do home visit to approve the home & yard. If there are kids to observe the kids & owners pups in there own enviroment.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

If all that works out we do our adoption.

Additional adoption info

We have had a great success rate. That being said nobody gets it right 100% of the time. We take all types of dogs. We are there for our adopters for the life of the dog and in the event an owner cannot care for the dog we will always take the pup back into our rescue.

More about this rescue

We are passionate about dogs. We are committed to helping them find forever homes and educating folks on the proper treatment & care of pets and the importance of a good diet and to spay & neuter to reduce un wanted litters. We take owner surrender and well as pulling from euth lists from all over the US. as well as local pups.
