Sweetie is up for adoption! She is a very sweet 1 year old, 45 pound hound mix. Before she arrived at the kill shelter in NC, she was hit by a car. Lucky for her there were no broken bones, but she did have very bad open wounds. Thankfully she is all healed and ready to be adopted. Even after all she has been through, she is an absolute doll! She has a great personality and is a lot of fun to be around! She plays nicely with other dogs after a slow introduction. She can go to a home with another dog, but would also be fine alone. She would do great in a home with kids 16 and older as she doesn’t like to share her stuffed animal toys, but has no problem sharing food or other toys and bones. But with proper training, she can learn how to share.
