PLEASE scroll down and read the ENTIRE BIO. It is lengthy but has ALL INFO we know. Emailing and asking for more info is only going to hold up your process and risk your chances of the dog you want being gone. BLONDIE (approx 6 yrs old) is in SALEM, Ohio. SHE is fully vetted including: spay/rabies/Bordetella/parvo distemper vaccine/worming/heartworm lyme test/heartworm-flea prevent while at the shelter. We do not ship dogs, we do not transport dogs, we do not hold dogs. You must be ready to adopt within 72 hours upon approval.
FULLY VETTED ADOPTION FEE is: $150
** PLEASE NOTE: Since we are a shelter, the majority of our dogs have not had the luxury of a foster home. As a result, what we post in reference to their behavior, temperament, likes/dislikes etc is only what we witness here and not in a home atmosphere. ALSO, the breed mix posted is simply a GUESS on our part, we DO NOT do DNA testing.
Let me begin by saying that I am fully aware that my 74 lb body is a "tad" much. So, my new owner(s) will have to be dedicated to helping me slim down. That will include lots of walks, a proper diet and then more walks. So, if you are a couch potato, I am not the girl for you. My previous home did not supply me with what I needed in order to maintain a svelte lab figure and I am anxious to regain the look!! I am a very happy gal and despite my size, I can keep up with the other dogs here at the shelter! Prior to coming here I was living with 3 other dogs and a couple of cats. We all got along famously, but my pack and I were all used to each other's personalities. I now prefer to remain an only dog in my new home as I do not like to be bothered by other canines. I love kids so a family with children would be nice for me. I am a typical lab and will do just about anything for attention as I love to be loved on!! I ride good in a car and enjoy hanging my head out the window to catch some of that cool air. I am proud to say that I keep my kennel here at the shelter very clean but remember that a new home with new schedules will require time, patience and consistency on both our parts. So if you are ready to break out those walking shoes and then cuddle on the couch just fill out that application and let's see if we are a match for each other! love, blondie xoxoxo
