My story

Meet Remi!
Remi is a big ol’ goofball! He loves affection and just wants his people. He enjoys playing with doggo friends too!

Remi's perfect forever home would be a very active hooman/couple or family to help keep him entertained. His most favorite thing in the world is walks ?

"I prefer to walk myself...so I try to show my foster mom that I know how to hold the leash in my mouth! It makes her laugh! My one ear also flops to one side and my foster mom says it's so cute!!"

With proper introductions we think Remi would do well with most confident dogs. He is a strong 90lb lab/cane corso mix but pretends like he is a 20lb lap dog! This guy loves to snuggle! He is so gentle when he takes his treats and currently is in a foster home with two young kids who he adores! ?

Remi is extremely smart, crate trained, and can even do the “place” command. He does need some leash manners.

Remi would do best in a home without cats or small children. Give this guy his perfect home!!

Remi’s adoption fee is $300. We are a Columbus based rescue. We require our dogs to be indoor animals as well as all of their siblings (cats/dogs).

Why adoption is a great option

Remi, a New Albany Cane Corso/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso/Labrador Retriever for sale in New Albany, or seeking a Cane Corso/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in New Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Cane Corso/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
