My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hashbrown - Cairn Terrier Mix - Male - 1 Year - www.twyla.org

If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org

Meet Hashbrown: This delightful little cairn Terrier/Schnauzer (maybe Yorkie?) mix is about 1 year old and 11 lbs. He is a cuddlebug. He wants to be around people or other dogs. He gets along with other dogs, big and small, is great with cats, and loves kids, but lights up with squeaky toys. Hashbrown can be found either running around and playing or snoozing on the sofa with a cat or a dog (or kid). He takes his Velcro-dog job seriously and does not like to be left alone for long periods of time. He is working on his house and leash training skills - coming off the streets he's previously had no use for either, but he is learning quickly.

Hashbrown is looking for a home with or without dog-savvy kids - he loves kids but can be slippery at the door, so safety is important. He likes to be around other dogs, but could be fine as an only dog in the house, as long as he has a human to follow around most of the day. Patience and consistency with house and leash training is required.

***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
