My story

Ok, how do you spell derpy? S.T.E.V.E. hahaha, that’s me! A big, sweet, derpy looking, lovable 3-year-old guy, with a face that a human could love, right?! And speaking of humans, I recently spent some time in Brooklyn (which is pretty far from Texas, where I used to live) and my foster took me to brunch (bacon? yum, yes, please!) and a bar (beer? yuck, no, thanks!) and I did great! I really am an easy-going fella and actually pretty smart (if you’ll take the time to teach me). I learned “sit” in about 10 minutes and I know my name. I’m doing pretty well with crate training and am house broken. I may look big but I’m only 57 lbs. and won’t take up your whole couch. I do prefer the company of lady dogs because well, they smell nice. So, if you’re looking for a pal to explore life with and who also doesn’t mind just hanging out and watching some tv, I am the one for you! Email and they’ll set us up.

Why adoption is a great option

Steve, a Jersey City Weimaraner/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Jersey City, or seeking a Weimaraner/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Jersey City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jersey City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jersey City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Weimaraner/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jersey City paves the way for another one to be saved.
