My story

Just can't resist the comparison with Wonder Woman because the meaning of Maude's name reminds us of her--strong and mighty! It fits her, because she'll need that strength to fight her shyness. You see, she is terribly afraid and needs to overcome her fear. It takes strength to run from people and keep herself hidden. Maude just needs someone to show her how to use her strength to find the powers of courage and trust. We feel that once she gets a taste of the blissful feeling of being petted and loved on, she'll have a breakthrough. It could take a long time for that to happen, but if one is patient and has a calm and stable home with no children or dogs, please consider fostering her. Who knows, you may even decide that your home is the forever home! Born 8/19/21. There is a foster application on our website's Adoption Procedures tab.

NOTE: If a cat is on this website, it's available, so no need to ask. For faster reply, bypass an inquiry and submit the application found on our website's Adoption Procedures. No obligation--it just skips all the q & a which can be done after applying. Thank you..

If approved, we deliver to you. Home check is done before delivery. At delivery, the contract is signed and fee is collected.

Additional adoption info

We do have an application form on our website. A home check is also done. We know our animals well and work hard to make sure the adoption will be a purr-fect match! We will be happy to answer your questions. We want an adoption to be the right fit for both the humans and the animal.

When you adopt a pet from us, you can rest assured that you are getting a pet who is much loved, well-cared for, and whom we know well. In turn, we know that an adopter will provide a loving, caring, home.

Cat adoptions are usually $125 each. Dog fees are based on breed. All are current on vaccinations and neutering. Some are microchipped. They are vetted again before delivery.

All of our adoptable cats and dogs are pictured on our website, with their videos, at www.lifelineforpets.org.
