Meet the incredible fluffy Roscoe! He is a husky/samoyed mix (3-4 years old). I rescued Roscoe from the west coast and a high kill area. Unfortunately, I found out that I'm allergic to him.
- He's house & crate trained
- He has no separation anxiety, so you can leave him out of a crate for a few hours without any issues.
- He's not vocal at all - I work from home and it's been seamless to have him around during calls.
He is a little larger at 65 - 70 lbs. He knows basic commands down (sit, shake, down). Very trainable. His previous foster family had 4 other huskies whom he got along with. When taking him out on walks or to a dog park - he's still learning how to approach other dogs. Not sure of his past socialization with other dogs/pets.
He has shown some tendencies to resource guard (primarily around his food), we've worked on that and he's definitely improved.
Honestly, he's the best dog with an amazing temperament - very calm and mellow, but ready to run when you want.
