Hi my name is Jaguar and I’m possibly a momma, but my caretakers aren’t fully sure. The previous shelter sent me over with several young pups. Even if I wasn’t their momma I took care of them when I arrived at the rescue as if they were my own. I am friendly with other dogs, and I am always ready for some extra time and attention from my humans. I am naturally quiet and calm. Sometimes after my caretakers leave the kennel I let out a sad whine, although usually after some time I settle down. I would love to be in a home where I can have a peaceful environment to live in, or share a home with dogs who are tranquil like myself.

All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home.
Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt.
