Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! I'm Burke and I am one seriously handsome gentleman, even with no eyes! That's right, you read it correctly, I have no eyes. They had to be removed because they did not work and were very painful. I am now blind but pain free which makes life soooo much nicer. That being said, I need a home with no (or few) stairs and I prefer the company of adults and other chill dogs. Kids and rambunctious dogs can startle me and I am just looking to relax in my golden years. I am working on my fitness as I have what my foster Mom likes to call a "chonky belly". I spent my whole life with my previous owner until they passed away which is when I ended up in the shelter. I've been through a lot of change and I am looking for a confident leader who will show me that there is nothing to worry about...plus, I am an Aussie who may just boss you around if you don't set the rules for me. If you want to make a smart gamble and come to Vegas to meet me please just send in your application!
*please note
All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet.
