My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ophelia is a sweet dog who needs a family without kids. We had kids visiting and one of them choked the dog. Since then, she's been mistrustful of kids and has started to growl and nip at my son. She's anxious so it takes her some time to warm up to others, but she shows her enthusiasm with her whole body for those she loves. I have not been able to housetrain her despite trying different methods such as lease training and crating. She doesn't respond to negative reinforcement at all and needs more positive reinforcement for her training. She does know simple tricks and the things that she does want to learn she picks up easily. She has honestly been a rather sweet dog, but I do not trust her around my kid. We have had her for a year and a half, and she's about 1 year and 9 months old.
