Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beau is a sweet 17 lb., 15 month old miniature Schnauzer. He loves his humans and is very loyal, as all schnauzers are. He has a nipping issue that I am not able to help him with. He will be fine behaviorally and then he gets upset and nips. He can't stand his feet being touched, unless he initiates the action. I would not let him be adopted with children in the house.
He likes learning, he knows sit, down, stay, stop and shakes. He is dog door and kennel trained. He is food motivated so he will "shake", but it is not his favorite. He is a timid dog, very frightened of anything sudden and new. You have to be slow with him. He does take a while to warm up to people. He can get use it it, but it takes time.
I am becoming frightened of him so I cannot be an effective owner. I am still working and he needs someone with experience and time to train him. I am willing to bring him meet people. We are just heartbroken we can’t do right for Beau.
