Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mia is about to turn 5 in May. She is an Egyptian Mau mixed cat in need of a loving home. She and her brother were originally adopted from a small rescue in Santa Cruz as kittens. Sadly, her owners apartment flooded and the three were displaced. The initial plan was to keep the bonded pair together, but when moving time came and the two were separated, Mia came out of her shell! Turns out brother wanted all the attention and would run her off so he could to maximize pets and play time.
She is a little shy around strangers initially, but will flourish in a house with older adults that have experience with cats and no other pets. She will need time to warm up and prefers to hide until she knows it is safe. Don't let the frown on her face deceive you, once she does, Mia gives the best snuggles and will keep an eye out on things from the top of her cat tree!
