Scallop is the ultimate laid back lap kitten. He is a literary intellectual who would love to curl up with a good book if he could read...so instead his favorite past time is to snuggle in your lap while you curl up and read a good book!
Scallop is calm and plays gently, tapping and pawing at his toys. Instead of batting his toy, he even carries it in his mouth as he walks back to you. He is a little reserved and will slowly prance towards you, then sit and observe the scene before coming up to you for pets. He loves pets and will head bump your arm or hand to get more pets and scritches.
Scallop is tentative at first, but once he trusts you...he loves you 200%. He always wants to be in your lap, and you'll have to move him to get up. Cuddling with Scallop is a great way to wind down from your day because he exudes such a calm, loving energy that you can't help but relax as you pet him.
This little guy has his funny and adorable moments too. He trills to let you know that he wants to play, meows at his water bowl and chews with his mouth open facing the ground so food sometimes falls out.
Scallop is bonded with his brother Tuna, the cuddly playful jock. Where Scallop is the sensitive kitten, Tuna is the social, fun-loving one with a big personality. They love to cuddle with each other and with you (both in your lap at the same time). Scallop loves Tuna so much that he cries when he is stuck in a separate room from Tuna.
