My story

Miss Lady is looking for her forever home! She is about an 8 year old Coonhound who just steals everyone’s heart! She is such a sweetheart and wants someone to be with.

Lady is good with cats and dogs. She likes to hang with you and watch a movie or go for a walk. She is curious about any possible raccoons possibly lurking in trees. She is house-trained and also crate trained.

She would benefit from having a backyard where she can sunbathe and enjoy her time outside.

Lady’s adoption fee is $275. We are a Columbus, Ohio based rescue. We require our dogs to be indoor animals as well as all of their siblings (cats/dogs).

Why adoption is a great option

Lady, a New Albany Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound for sale in New Albany, or seeking a Coonhound dog from a breeder in New Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound breeders who help with Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
