My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please contact Allyce (allyceweigle@aol.com) for more information about this pet.

Hi! This is Zoe. She has a beautiful, soft grey fur coat with and just a smidge of white. Zoe lives with her sister Patches, and they would like to be adopted together. Zoe’s sister Patches has chronic but manageable respiratory issues that require daily medication as well. Zoe does not need any medication!

These young adult cats LOVE to play! The house is their jungle gym and I'm just here to supervise. They love toys, boxes, and they especially love looking out the window and watching the squirrels and chipmunks. They are not lap cats, but they will snooze on the couch next to me, and I do wake up with them snuggling my side. Zoe also loves to play with toy wands, hide in boxes, and chase the laser pointer. She is a very curious cutie who also loves to play in the sink and play with the water if you turn it on. She will come running when I call her name.

Zoe loves to follow you around and get pets. She also loves a good game of chase, although she is better at hiding than I am. She can be vocal, but only when you aren't petting her and she wants to be pet. She also loves to greet you in bed in the morning when you wake up. She doesn’t like being picked up, but she loves head pets and she loves being talked to as well.

These two are a joy to have around. They get along with my other cats and play with two of them. My dog isn't interactive, but they leave her alone so they're good with dogs that aren't reactive. I'm not sure how they'd do around high energy dogs. They do well with older children, but they haven't been around younger children. Zoe does scare easily so she would do best in a quite home with no young children.

If you're interested you can fill out an application online at www.castawaycritters.org (please list Patches as your second choice so we know you're interested in both, if you are interested in both!) I know their perfect forever home is out there for them, and I hope we find you soon!

They are fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped. If you have any questions, you can email me, Allyce at AllyceWeigle@aol.com

Additional adoption info

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. For more information, see our website at www.castawaycritters.org.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

Please also check out our events page on our website as fosters sometimes bring their available animals out to meet people!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
