Hi, my name is Banshee, and life has not been kind to me so far. Before coming to Dolly’s Legacy I was in a rural Oklahoma shelter where I was alone in a wire-bottomed kennel listening to dogs barking day and night. I had almost no human contact, and the times there were people around, they weren’t very nice to me. Because of that I became very defensive and what my foster mama calls “spicy.” I spent my first months just trying to protect myself because I was so scared, but I have proven that not only am I not a mean kitty, I have a lot of love to give! My foster mama worked with me a ton to gain my trust, and although my progress started out very slow, I have made HUGE progress and I’m now a mild little sweetheart! Because of that, I am now ready for my forever home where I can continue to blossom. I will need a family who understands that I will need a ton of patience and extra love. I have thrived in a calm environment where I can go at my own pace. Another thing to know about me is that I absolutely love other cats. They are my favorite playmates and give me confidence I am safe, so I would love for my forever home to have other kitty companions for me to love. I am so glad I found my way to Dolly’s Legacy where they have been so patient with me while I took the time I needed to grow and get ready for my forever home. Banshee is a petite female Siamese who was born approximately 11-2-21. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and dewormed. Adoption fee is $125 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
