My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


We adopted Theodore from the Gulf Coast Humane Society one month ago, and he will be turning one on May 6. He is an "Irish Poodle".

Theodore is a sweet, lovable, HIGHLY ENERGETIC dog who needs someone to run with him and play his favorite game of catch. My husband and I are both senior citizens, and did not realize that we are unable, health wise, to provide the exercise Theodore needs to thrive.

He is neutered, has all of his shots, and is currently in training at Dynamite Dog Training in Deerfield, with the remaining sessions able to be transferred to the new owner.

Theodore does nip when playing and having the leash put on, however, he is learning to control these impulse behaviors.

He is a beautiful dog, although the photo does not do him justice! He needed a shaving to get through his matted coat, so whoever adopts him needs to brush him daily. Finally, a fenced yard is mandatory because Theodore loves to play catch.
