My story

12 months old Brodie is a German Shepherd mix (possibly with Malamute) who was found wandering the cruel streets of Houston, when his foster mom picked him up and saved him.

Brodie is a very playful and sweet pup. He loves to play with his doggie friends, and loves getting trained. He is very good with children, and people in general.

We do not have information about his temperament around cats.

He has a very vibrant personality and everyone who meets him, loves him instantly.

At this time, Brodie is about 52 lbs, fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, He is currently being fostered in Texas but can be transported to your state.

Yards must be fully and adequately fenced to be considered for our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.

Please send an email to savesomesoulsrescue@gmail.com or a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com so you could be approved to meet this gorgeous pup via facetime or messenger.

Why adoption is a great option

Brodie, a Houston German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Houston, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
