UPDATE 4/14/22: Yarrow is dainty like the flowers she is named for. She is gentle as a summer breeze and as sweet as a ripe berry. Yarrow was a stray found by Animal Control with her companions Elaine (likely her sister) and Wade (likely a relative also). They were all about as thin as dogs could get without dying. Even in her bone thin condition, Yarrow showed strong vitality. She has responded quickly to kind care and now is up to date with veterinary requirements.
This quiet girl is like a little lamb who gives her love freely. She enjoys easy frolics and has calmly accepted being lead on a leash. Yarrow shares a room with Elaine and enjoys snuggling on a doggie bed. She has been good-humored with all of the other dog residents and has acted considerately toward our cats.
Her age has been estimated at 5 years, and while she came in underweight at only 25 pounds, she is gradually gaining weight. A soft tan and white coat perfectly sets-off her most engaging feature—big, soulful brown eyes.
If you find a warm-hearted, passive personality attractive, and you enjoy the possibility of giving the-good-life to a deserving dog, then Yarrow could be your perfect match. She humbly waits for your application.
