My name is HARLEY! Allow me to share a bit about myself. I'm a 6-year-old, 18 lb, tan dachshund mix. I am a good companion, and I love to be by your side. I love naps, my other half, Lady, food, and treats! I love being around people and giving them lots of love. I was diagnosed with a grade three heart murmur, so I am on medication for life. I need to find a home that will keep me on my medicine and allow my best friend, Lady, to come along. We have never been apart and it is obvious that we do not want to be. I have a hard time hearing because of my chronic ear infections. I need to go to the vet for regular checkups. I like other dogs but haven't been around cats. The Ark has a cage-free cat room, so they can test me with cats if needed. My previous owner could not keep me any longer due to her schedule. I am house and crate trained. I have received comprehensive vetting: Veterinary Physical and Dental examinations; Veterinarian administered vaccinations, fecal analysis, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and neutering. I have an adoption fee of $150 to help offset vetting costs. Wonderful people from the community donated so I could have my adoption fee at this price to give me a better chance to go to a home with my Lady. Hope to see you soon!
