April - What a cutie! This is one gorgeous girl who will make an excellent companion for an active person. She is high energy, loves to play and is very smart. April is currently learning sit, down and recall.  She has had her first set of shots and NorSled will make sure she gets the rest of her shots and is spayed in the coming weeks. If you are interested in April please complete and adoption questionnaire  at Forms (norsled.org).  She is being fostered in Oakland.

Why adoption is a great option

April, a Walnut Creek Siberian Husky/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Walnut Creek, or seeking a Siberian Husky/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Walnut Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walnut Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walnut Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Siberian Husky/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walnut Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
