I need a single family home with a fenced in yard. I need a home with another dog in it!

Hello I am a lab mix and my name is Levi.  I was born around 11/4/21.  I am a very friendly little man and I get along swell with other dogs.  I am crate trained and I sleep through the night.  I would prefer to snooze on my dog bed or on the couch, but I can do the crate. I am potty trained.  I enjoy playing outside in the morning.  It takes me a few minutes to warm up to you but once I do, I like to be babied. I prefer women over men at first, but definitely warm up to men. I do get along with children of all ages.  I do have an independent side and a cuddly side.  I am learning to sit for treats, and I love chew bones and toys.  I am working on my manners but after all I am young.  I love to play outside, especially when it's warm. I also like to chase squirrels. I am patiently waiting for the right person to come along that can see my true potential.  I am going to make someone a loyal companion.  I am looking for an active single-family home and I need another dog in the home.

More about this rescue

Douglas County Canine Rescue, or DCCR as we like to call our organization is about one thing, helping dogs in need! Douglas County Canine Rescue, is a 501 c3 non- profit, no kill, animal rescue. Our mission is to rescue abandoned animals, spay, neuter and provide medical care, and then put them with foster homes until we get them adopted into the loving homes that they need and deserve! Douglas County Canine Rescue does not have a facility. We rely solely on the kindness and generosity of animal lovers who open their hearts to help us take care of the animal orphans that desperately need help.
