My story

Nova!       DOB: 3/2019     Weight: 53lbs

Nova is a VERY sweet pit mix. A major cuddler and a professional butt wiggler. Loves scratches and belly rubs. Enjoys sunbathing when it’s nice out. Rolling in the grass is a must for her everytime she goes out lol. She does well for baths and car rides. Good with medium sized dogs(40lbs) and up. She has a prey drive for smaller animals, so no cats. Great with people and kids. She knows how to sit and will take treats nicely. No food or toy aggression at all. Nova is a quiet dog with us, but she’ll attract attention with her weird little gremlin howls when out in public. She practically throws herself onto people for attention, so if you’re sitting on the ground be aware . We all love her here at the shelter. She had it rough before coming to us. A puppy maker for someone until they didn’t need her, then passed to multiple different homes. We know her perfect home is out there.

Her adoption fee is $175. That covers worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heart worm test, and microchip. We offer a two week trial in which you can borrow items. If interested in adopting her please fill out an application on our website. pcpoundpuppies.com. Came to the shelter 4/2022.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process consists of an adoption application followed by an interview. Upon arriving at the shelter, each dog receives a Bordetella shot, DHPPC vaccination and worming. At the veterinarian's office, our dogs receive a rabies vaccination, a spay or neuter surgery, and are tested for heartworm. If a dog tests positive, we treat the dog and then retest to confirm that the treatment was successful. Additionally, our dogs are microchipped before going home with their new family. Adoption fees are $85 and help to cover the cost of vetting.
