Mindie is a sweet little lady who's dad had to move to a care facility, leaving her, a sibling and mama dog behind. Although they've lived together, the trio wasn't bonded and each are in different homes lapping up the extra attention versus sharing with each other.
Mindie gets along with other animals, but of course loves people attention. She smiles at her people and is even up for a sing-a-long. A family with lots of love and attention to give would suit her fine or even an individual looking for a BFF.
She has just arrived in her foster home post-spay and her senior profile/bloodwork came out very good. She has a lot of years to offer some lucky home!
Age: 10 years
Weight: 12 lb
Sex: Female
Good with other dogs? Yes, and cats
Friendly with people? Very
Crate trained? Yes
Housetrained? We are working with her on that now.
Vetted? Just spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative
To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.
We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $300; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.
