MINNIE is a super sweet pocket beagle, weighing in at just 12 pounds! That's her full grown size, though Minnie is convinced she's still a puppy.
Minnie loves kids, other dogs & playing with EVERYONE. Her favorite games include "lets-take-all-the-toys-to-the-couch" and "chase-the-yellow-ball-but-dont-expect-me-to-bring-it-back-to-you".
Minnie came to us as a stray, so we don't know much of her past... only that she can be very timid until she gets to know you. She is discovering life will be different now & has blossomed into a happy, smart little cuddle bug.
Minnie is extremely food motivated --what beagle isn't? If there was a shirt that said "Will work for treats", we're certain Minnie would be proudly sporting it. Potty training is a work in progress, but she is learning. Minnie is crate trained, but would much prefer to hang out with you on the couch watching her favorite tv show, which is currently "Bridgerton." Just don't let her steal your popcorn!

MINNIE is available for adoption through K-9 Rescue of the Eastern Shore.
An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link -- https://www.k9rescuees.org/info/adoption
Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt. The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit.
