My story

DOB 7/12/20 -  Cassandra is a gorgeous, show stopping Smokey tabby with huge green eyes. She’s a rare one indeed, with an iridescent black coat that will show her greyish white tabby stripes! If she went to went to a human hairstylist they would say she has teasy lights.  You have to see it to understand the beauty of Cassandra's furr.  Not to mention it is silky soft. 



Once she knows she's safe, she can be found cuddling up beside you each night for bedtime. She craves to be loved and makes biscuits the entire time. She has her favorite blanket which is her lovey.  She loves her blankey like a child.  She would love to be adopted with another calm loving cat to become her new BFF.  She truly is the sweetest.  She LOVES to be brushed.  She will roll over just to make sure you got every spot.  She is also quite the foodie.  She LOVES LOVES LOVES her treats.  And just in case you forget about treat time, she will kindly remind you.  She is a silly loveable girl.  She would do best in a quiet home.

Our adoption process involves a personal interview with one of our adoption counsellors. Potential adopters are asked questions about their family, home, and lifestyle in order to match them with the perfect cat or kitten. We do require an adoption contract/agreement that outlines expectations for both the adopter and our organization. Adoption Fees are $60 for adults, $100-120 for most kittens, and $150 for specialty breeds.

We have a cat adoption event every Saturday from noon-8 pm at Petco Prestonwood on Montfort between Arapaho and Beltline (just across the street is Addison). We also have adoptable cats and kittens on display at Petco Casa Linda, Petco Carrollton, Petco Lovers Lane, Petco Prestonwood and Petco Mesquite all the time.

We work with local shelters to give cats and kittens more time to find just the right home. We have placed over 3,000 kitties with new families since 2013. We are also avid promoters of the Trap-Neuter-Release process to assist in the reduction of homeless cats by spaying and neutering and education of the public on the basics of the process.
