My story

Baron is an 80-90lb big hunk of love, male Pit Bull. He is super strong, energetic and goofy.

Baron loves to go for walks, run around and play in his kiddie pool with water. Baron is a large boy and very strong and will require a family that is experienced with bullies and or large breeds.

Baron can be playful and rambunctious at time and will need a family that will work on basic obedience training with him. He is working on not pulling on a leash and not jumping when he is excited. He is a sweet boy and can be relaxed once he has had some good exercise.

Baron is not good with other dogs and since he is so strong and large, will need a family that will keep him safe and be diligent about keeping him away from other dogs. He is not very reactive though and can be polite and walk fine when seeing other dogs on walks. We recommend kids over 16 in the home or an adult only home. No cats. Baron will need a fenced yard since he is energetic and loves to run around.

Baron is UTD on shots, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $300.

More about this rescue

Forever Home Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We receive dogs from owner surrenders and overcrowded shelters. All of the dogs are housed in private, loving foster homes or a kennel in the greater Seattle area. We assess their behaviors and health and help them relax during their transition to a forever home. The dogs remain in foster care or in our kenneling facility until they are adopted. All of the dogs visit our vet for a health screening, are spayed or neutered, microchipped and are current on routine vaccinations.

Forever home dog rescue is not a shelter and thus you cannot see the dogs without an appointment.

We need foster homes! Thinking about adopting a dog, but not sure yet about which breed or if you're ready for the long-term commitment? Consider becoming a foster parent. A foster dog placement can be anywhere from two weeks to several months. We provide any dog supplies you may need and cover all necessary medical costs for your foster dog. You provide the love and attention and bring the dogs to adoption events at least twice per month.

Interested? Send us an email at fhdrwa@gmail.com and we'll send you a foster application. It's lots of fun and you will meet lots of dogs and other people who love dogs.
