The following cats have had their adoption fees covered by donors and/or waived due to special circumstances. Each adopter MUST still go through the entire adoption process, and we will be determining the best home, but we want these kitties to go home this July Freedom Fest!
Otto is a HUGE black and white Tuxedo, young, around 4 years old. He is also SPICY. He can bite when he is overstimulated and needs an experienced adopter in a home with no children. He would also prefer no cats, but he will accept a submissive cat. He has great potential. We just think he has been allowed to be the “BAD BOY” in his previous home(s) and needs some schooling on good behavior.
Take a look at this big, beautiful tuxedo boy. His name is Otto.
Otto is a long furred tuxedo cat of about 4 years old. He is a sweet cuddly lap cat. He loves to sit with his person and purr for hours.
He would be happy with people, other cats or dogs. Older children as ok, too. His ideal home would have a cat tree or someplace high for him to observe his kingdom. His glorious coat needs a little maintenance with brushing.

Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.
YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.
