Is there anything better than a wise, brave Grandpa? The kind that sits quietly with you and you just feel safer and loved for his being there? Buddy Jackson is that Grandpa in the form of an awesome dog. This senior staffy/boxer/supermutt mix is about 8 years old and 65 lbs. He adores all people and gets along well with other dogs but mostly, he just wants to love and be loved by his hooman. See, Buddy Jackson was surrendered by a lovely senior lady who is moving into a care home. She says Buddy wandered on to her farm just when "she needed him the most and has been her angel since that day"- protecting her and showering her with love. We want to honor her and give this guy the home he deserves. When the hero ages he deserves even more adoration, right? He does have some arthritis in his hips so needs to stay on his supplements and maybe not spend his golden years in a 5 story walk-up. Just somewhere that he can still feel like the beloved hero he is while he shares his love and wisdom with you. Apply today!

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Buddy Jackson.

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
