My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Badger and Damascus! This sweet senior pair are bonded and would like to finish out their days together! Badger is approximately eight years old and 60 pounds and Damascus is nine years old and 15 pounds. Badger a male is a husky mix and Damascus is a female and a Jack Russell terrier and possibly beagle mix. This pair came to us when their human dad died. They missed him very much, and it took a while for them to get acclimated into their foster home. But now they are doing well happy and playful. Both walk well on a leash and are perfectly housetrained. Damascus has been treated for Heartworms.

Interested in becoming a forever home for Badger and Damascus? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application.

Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws.

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Badger and Damascus.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Badger and Damascus the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.
For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process.

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.

Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
