Rio was running the streets in the Rio Grande Valley Texas where dogs are disguarded like trash and roam searching for food and shelter. He was running with a pregnant female and we rescued both of them. That evening she went into labor in our foster home. And delivered 3 beautiful babies.

Rio is currently in foster here in NJ. He is a sweet boy. He loves everyone he meet. He is Heartworm positive and undergoing heartworm treatment currently.

More about this rescue

We are a no-kill rescue who pulls from high kill shelters. As of right now, everything is being run out of our own homes and approved foster homes. Needless to say, we are in desperate need of foster homes so we can save more lives.
