Sheeba is a strong, independent lady who knows what she wants - a home with her very own human...who also happens to be male! Yep, she's looking for her Cat Daddy. Sheeba seems to gravitate to male humans over females, who knows why? Only Sheeba does. She would also prefer to be the sole reigning Queen Kitty of her household.
While Sheeba is making (loving) demands, she would also adore a home with lots of space to roam! She is quite curious, and enjoys having the time and space to explore and go off on independent adventures. You'll know she is ready to settle in for a good nap when she sprawls out and starts making biscuits!
Given a little time and space to adjust to her new surroundings, Sheeba will become the kind of lady who greets her human at the door! She eagerly accepts pets - for maybe twenty minutes or so - and then lets her person know when she has had enough. A swift clawless paw seems to always do the trick for her, but she doesn't take too kindly to being ignored. An experienced cat owner who can understand Sheeba's signals as her healthily setting boundaries is just the person she is searching for!
In foster, Sheeba has become accustomed to a certain way of life. She has been bestowed with many gifts in the form of words of affirmation, bird television, delicious treats, and the best toys dipped in the best catnip money can buy! She can only hope that her fur-ever home can continue to spoil her with all those goodies and more!
Sheeba will truly thrive if she is able to find a home that suits her needs! She seems to ignore women and shows her sweet and loving side to the men who are around; don't take it personally, ladies! She breaks out her passionate purrs, shows off her biscuit making skills and will even headbutt for more pets and affection! She is such a flirt.
As Sheeba settles into her fur-ever home, you'll know she's feeling comfortable when she climbs into her human's lap for pets, and starts to drool! She can't resist head and chin scratches and turns to putty in her person's hands.
Sheeba's ideal home is a calm, low-traffic zone, with only one or two people around. She is easily startled or overwhelmed by loud noises, so would not take too kindly to younger children who can't help but be boisterous!
If her human(s) have to be away for a bit, Sheeba would love a throne - or cat tower, whichever title you prefer - next to a window to spend her days on! She curiously observes her foster's cats and neighbor's dogs from afar, and becomes very invested in the lives of the birds on the YouTube channels her foster plays for her! She has not met any of these animals yet - but did not love the puppy she had interacted with in a previous home. Too much spunk for Sheeba.
Sheeba is patiently waiting for a knight in shining armor to scoop her up and take her away to a calm and relaxed environment where she can reign! Contact APA! today to learn more about Sheeba!
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
