ADOPTION PROCESS

Before 2nd Chance Dog Rescue places a dog in his/her furever home, the potential adopter is required to fill out an Adoption Consultation Application. Once we have reviewed your application we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and home check. 2nd Chance Dog Rescue will only adopt to families living in the Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, San Tan Valley, and Phoenix area - as long as it is within 50 miles of our rescue (Queen Creek).

Lala is a loving, funny and talkative senior sweetie, with the heart and spunkiness of a two-year-old! Our girl is housetrained, and doggie door trained. She loves everyone she meets and would do best with a family with older kids or an older couple who would love to take her everywhere. Lala was found emaciated, and after we rescued her, she had to have emergency surgery for twisted intestines; she has also had a few tumors removed. Recently, she had surgery to remove a very troublesome eye, and we have to say SHE'S EVEN CUTER! Lala is healthy and ready to find her forever home!

Lala is a petite 44 lbs., and at this time we don't know how she is with other animals but feel she would do okay with a non-dominant dog because she loves just about everyone! She also does well in the car, loves chasing lizards, and is exceptionally young at heart.

$195.00 puppies, adoption fee varies for our adult dogs. Potential adopters need to fill out our adoption consultation form and if they qualify, we will arrange a meet/greet then a home check. All of our dogs are S/N, vaccinated/micro-chipped

More about this rescue

2nd "Chance" saves dogs that otherwise would be left on the streets to fend for themselves or brought to the pound and most likely placed on the E-List. Our dogs are extremely loving and deserve a place to call home.
