Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gemma is the sweetest girl. She is playful and energetic. And she absolutely loves affection. She is good with kids and other dogs. Gemma almost came to us in December of last year but when we went to pick up several dogs from the shelter she had been adopted that day. She was then lost for a while and reunited and then picked up two times since as a stray. Not that we are thankful she is back at the shelter but we are thankful she is no longer with someone unwilling to keep her safe and that we still have the chance to help her. She is such a good girl and deserves better.

If you want to meet a pup in person, Once Upon a Tail Rescue does adoption events at PetSmart in Covington, LA on most Saturdays with many of our adoptable dogs there.
Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day!
*Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.*
**All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.
