My story

Tortilla desperately needs a loving home. He wants to be the only pet and would make a great dog for someone that lives in a small home and goes on daily walks. He is only 42 lbs and is treat motivated so should be easy to train. He can not be with other pets, he is a jealous boy and wants his human to himself. Transports are available weekly. He is currently boarding in SC where he was scheduled to be euthanized. We saved him and put him in temp boarding, but he has been there too long. Contact us for application

Why adoption is a great option

Tortilla (urgent), a Waterville American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Waterville, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Waterville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waterville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waterville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waterville paves the way for another one to be saved.
