Basil!

Basil is a shy but sweet kitty. She fended on her own at a young age and learned how to live in the woods until she was rescued at about 4 months old. She immediately adjusted to life sleeping on soft blankets, eating regular meals and drinking clean water. She has always been playful and, once you gain her trust, she will seek you out for attention and affection. She enjoys sitting next to you on the couch for a good petting session or curling up next to you for a nights sleep. 

Basil does get along with other calm kitties but would be fine being the only kitty in the household, as long as she has her toys and her humans are not gone for long periods of time. She will do best in a quiet household and with someone (s) who is patient enough to wait for her to adjust in a new surrounding. She lives with dogs and would be fine with calm dogs who are cat savvy.
