My story

Meet Bravo! This older kitten is just the best. Bravo is alert and confident and she has lots of energy and plays all day. She loves the cat tree in her foster home and all the wand toys her foster family has for her. Bravo PLAYS and will need a home that will interact with her multiple times a day. Currently, she demands you play with her first thing in the morning, when you arrive home from work and before you go to bed at night. Her play sessions can last 20-30 minutes each! She loves to play with interactive toys like a wand toy and she also will play with a stuffed toy on her own. Her foster family has a 90-pound lab mix and they love to play together. Bravo took a week or two to warm up to the dog, but now they enjoy each other's company and will chase each other around the house. Bravo does snuggle when she's ready and is a serious biscuit maker, however, SHE will be the one to determine when she snuggles. The best way to get her to snuggle is to start typing on your laptop. She loves the clicking of the keys and chasing the curser on the computer screen. She is fabulous at using the litter box and doesn't really care for wet cat food. She is a great kitten and will need to be continually engaged with multiple levels to climb (like a cat tree), human interaction, multiple scratchers, and toys. She might make a good companion for another cat, but a SLOW introduction will need to happen. **Bravo does have asthma. She is currently on prednisone and an inhaler once a day. Asthma is a lifelong condition for Bravo and will need to be managed DAILY. The shelter will provide training on how to administer the medications. Bravo may NOT be declawed due to Furry Friends Refuge's no declawing policy. She does do a nice job of using the cat tree for scratching, but sometimes the couch in the other room is just easier for her to use. If you are interested in adopting Bravo, you may contact the shelter via the website (furryfriendsrefuge.org) or email the shelter adoptions@furryfriendsrefuge.org or you may apply.
